Vietnam Veterans of America - Chapter 582
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for consideration for an award from the Vietnam Veterans of America - Chapter 582 Fund, the applicant must meet the following criteria.
• A graduate of Pleasant Valley High School, Chico High School, or Paradise High School
• Be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or trade school
• The applicant must have a parent or grandparent who is a veteran (any branch and time period)
Must Provide
• Essay: Please attach an essay of no more than 250 words stating what a college education will mean to you and what you plan on doing with your degree once it is obtained. Why is this scholarship necessary for you to reach your goal?
• Your high school transcripts
Scholarship Rules and Information
Decisions will be based on the required essay, financial need, and scholastic achievement.
