We believe a thriving community engages a diverse group of passionate people who contribute to its success.

Lead was focused on building a leadership foundation that values collaboration, trust and inclusion.

The Community Leadership Program brought together individuals from across the community to collaborate, grow and make a difference.

About Lead

The Community Leadership Program ran for two years, between 2022 and 2024. Participants attended monthly daylong classes for nine months. Each day session was focused on a single topic – for example, mental health, economic development or culture.

The Nonprofit Institute, a weeklong intensive training program for nonprofit leaders, was held two straight years. The training covered topics from collaboration to best practices for nonprofit leaders as well as hands-on activities emphasizing the importance of teamwork and resiliency.

A 12-course series called “Focus on Fundraising” was designed to help nonprofit organizations navigate the ins and outs of the vital topic of fundraising.
