Description
The Emil and Leonora Stiefvater Senior Endowment exists to support the emotional, physical and/or spiritual needs of older adults. Its grant program provides financial and infrastructure support to build capacity in nonprofit organizations that serve seniors.

Eligibility
Grant seekers are invited to apply in order to begin a conversation with the funder about the needs of seniors in their community. This grant program strongly prioritizes proposals that provide basic needs to seniors (food, shelter, access to medical care, among other basic needs). Proposals in which seniors are not the primary audience of the program will not be considered. Grants are intended to leverage existing funds and income streams to complete or enhance existing projects.
The Stiefvater Senior Endowment will award one grant per organization per fiscal year (September 1 – August 31).
