Fund Purpose
Operation: Hug My Hero offers financial support and assistance to selected individuals, parents and families of US military personnel to help them see their loved one for life-changing events, such as Basic Military Training Graduation, or to reunite them after extended time and absences.

The members of the military can be sent to duty stations overseas for years and their loved ones will not see them at all during that time because they can’t afford to travel to see them. This charity will help them do this. There are also parents whose kids are stateside and they can’t afford to see their BMT graduation, wedding, tech school graduation. Through fundraising activities, such as dinners, raffles, craft fairs and generous donations, we hope to help out who we can to reunite with their Hero.
