The purpose of this fund is to support the Torres Shelter in memory of Howard Slater to honor his love and passion for that institution.
More Info
Howard Slater was larger than life, and his legacy and impact will live on for generations. He loved his family and community like no other. Howard contributed his time, talent, resources and influence to so many organizations in Chico. In honor of that and his love for the Torres Shelter, his family is starting this memorial fund to raise funds for the Torres Shelter.
