City of Chico Tree Fund

Fund Purpose

The Chico Tree Care Fund supports building a healthy, livable community in Chico by growing a healthy urban forest. The Street Tree Division takes care of over 40,000 of Chico’s trees.

Funds will help plant, establish, monitor, and care for City Trees, as well as to help educate citizens, support volunteer efforts, and care for heritage trees. Your contribution funds staff time, supplies, plant materials, and outreach efforts for tree planting, preservation, and grant applications.
