To provide scholarships to local high school seniors bound for college or a vocational program in the name of Carrie Holiman.

Since 2010, the Carrie Holiman Memorial Fund has been funded by money raised through an annual memorial run/walk for Carrie Holiman who passed away in July 2010. Carrie Holiman was a teacher in Corning who was tragically hit and killed by a car while on a morning run. Scholarships in her name are awarded in May annually to local graduating high school seniors headed for college or vocational school. It is our hope that the Carrie Holiman Memorial Fund can provide scholarships to local youth into perpetuity.
