Matt Schneider Memorial Scholarship
Fund Purpose
The primary purpose of the Fund shall be to provide scholarships for graduating seniors in Butte County who have played tennis on their high school team or are affiliated with a local tennis club.

Matt was an avid tennis player all his life. He was enjoying teaching his son, Jason, and his daughter Leah, the skills and techniques of tennis. He was a member of The Chico Racquet Club for the past 9 years and built a strong community of tennis friends. Matt thoroughly enjoyed tennis and it brought a lot of joy to his life, as well as his family. We've created this memorial scholarship in Matt's name, to give back to fellow tennis players as they move forward in life and graduate high school. Tennis will forever be a part of our lives and we hope to carry on Matt's name.
