Portrait of Victoria Diaz, Care Team coach

Victoria Diaz

she/her

Hello there! My name is Victoria but I prefer Tori. I was born in Chico but raised in a small town 20 minutes away called Orland. I moved to Chico to attend Chico State as a first generation student and fell in love with all parts of Butte County. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and a minor in Diversity Studies. I am beyond excited to be part of the CARE Team. I have a passion and purpose in empowering youth and fostering environments where young people can flourish and confidently step into their unique potential. I started this work over 10 years ago and committed to making a difference in the lives of young people.

A little bit about myself, I am a stepmom to one beautiful little girl and a fur mom of two crazy dogs. I love the outdoors, plants, playing sports - especially softball, coffee shops, board games, and walks around the neighborhood. If you don’t find me there, you’ll find me spending time with my family. As I am the middle child of three girls, who loves to spend days at our grandparents home.

Growing up in this area and calling it my home, I’ve always wanted to be a part of making it a better place for the youth in this community. My heart is here and I look forward to continuing to work with the people of Butte County.
