Chico, California (September 13, 2012) – Nonprofits participating in the Annie B’s Community Drive will showcase their services in the Chico City Plaza during the Thursday Night Market Presents on September 20.  North Valley Community Foundation, sponsor of the Annie B’s Community Drive, is partnering with the Downtown Chico Business Association for the third year in a row, on this special Thursday Night Market event.

Chico, California (August 2, 2012) –  Annie B’s Community Drive has started with 250 charitable causes in Butte, Glenn, Tehama and Colusa counties participating in what quickly became the largest community-wide grant program in the region. After challenging the region with an initial $500,000 in percentage grants for the first five years, the Foundation has committed to another $500,000 which will take the Drive until 2016.

Grant Program Purpose
The Stimulate Giving Grant Program is an innovative grant program aimed at encouraging for-profit businesses, individuals, families, and/or giving circles to give strategically and with an increased focus on outcomes benefiting our communities.
This unique program will offer economic and philanthropic resources to businesses, individuals, families or giving circles as they pursue their charitable endeavors.

North Valley Community Foundation Announces Grants Available for Organizations Serving Older Adults

Chico, California (January 23, 2012) –  Nonprofit organizations serving older adults are encouraged to apply for new funds being offered from the Emil and Leonora Stiefvater Grant Program through North Valley Community Foundation (NVCF). This grant program is in its third year and is dedicated to establishing and/or expanding endowment building programs among nonprofit organizations serving older adults in Butte, Glenn, Tehama and Colusa Counties.

Chico, California (August 30, 2011) – North Valley Community Foundation has once again launched its annual Annie B’s Community Drive.  The Annie B’s Community Drive is the largest community-wide grant program in the region.  All nonprofit organizations and charitable causes in Butte, Glenn, Tehama, and Colusa counties are eligible to participate in this innovative program.   The Drive is in its fifth year; and with a renewed commitment this unique drive will continue for five more years.

Chico, California (June 23, 2011) – All charitable causes in Butte, Colusa, Glenn and Tehama counties are invited to participate in a unique grant program called the Annie B’s Community Drive that encourages donations with grant dollars.  Nonprofit organizations and charitable funds must sign-up online during the month of July before the application deadline of July 31.
