CHICO — North Valley Community Foundation's annual giving project, the Annie B's, has begun its third year of raising funds for hundreds of nonprofits that will sign up to take part.
The Annie B's was started in 2007 with an anonymous donation of $250,000 to be used as seed money spread out in $50,000 increments over five years.
Nonprofits with websites are encouraged to look into Google AdSense to create revenue. At no cost to you, ads are placed in your site for services that are relevant to your viewers, and you get income for every hit coming from your site. NVCF receives approximately $50 per month currently through this program and encourages other to give it a try.
