The mission of the North Valley Community Foundation is to promote and support philanthropy.
The vision of the Foundation is to mobilize our communities and resources to recognize collective aspirations, engage our toughest challenges, and realize our most inspiring opportunities. To accomplish our vision, the Foundation promotes the enhancement of quality of life for all the people in the counties we serve by:
* Encouraging private giving from local donors for the public good
* Building and maintaining permanent endowment funds to respond to changing community needs
* Providing for donor needs through a variety of fund options
* Serving as a catalyst, convener and partner in shaping effective responses to community needs
