By popular demand, the May 2013 Council meeting will
be dedicated to understanding the importance of the nonprofit sector on the
economy. The forum entitled, “Regional Economic Growth—The Nonprofit
Contribution” will present regional data to illuminate the large impact of the
sector on the health of the region. We will explore what relevance this data
has on our individual organization and the sector as a whole and what to do
with it to make the greatest impact on the widest audience. Our hope is that
this forum will be a spring board for future action, collaboration, understanding
and increased value for the sector as a whole. Local experts Michael McGinnis,
Debra Lucero, Warren Jensen, and Shawn Tillman will serve as resources and
facilitators.
Bring your Board Chairs and key stakeholders for this historic
session.
